Original stories and clear attribution

Poke Fun Play publishes original fan-created Pokémon stories. They are not official episodes, books or game narratives. We use AI assistance for drafting and revision, and attribute work to the Poke Fun Play editorial team rather than inventing authors or claiming personal experiences.

Each story begins with a setting, cast and conflict. Drafts are reviewed for readability, continuity, repetition and differences from other stories. Featured Pokémon link to species pages, and illustrations follow scenes from the narrative.

Research before factual articles

Factual articles prefer official Pokémon, Nintendo and game-support sources. We record source URLs and checked dates, then separate confirmed details from collecting suggestions or interpretation. A published source list lets readers inspect the original information.

Releases, transfers and service features can change. A checked date states when we reviewed information; it does not promise a live game will remain unchanged. Historical profiles do not claim discontinued online features still work. We do not publish invented review scores, first-hand play reports or financial forecasts.

Illustrations and accessibility

Most story and article illustrations are generated locally with ComfyUI and Flux Klein 9B using scene briefs and Pokémon references. They are decorative fan illustrations, not official screenshots or product photographs. Some site announcements instead use a labeled graphic of actual card artwork. Captions describe which kind of image is shown.

Images have descriptive alternative text, responsive sizes and reserved dimensions. Main text is available in the page HTML. Reading does not require an account, and we do not store reading progress in Firebase.

Corrections and commercial links

When a fact changes or an error is identified, we revise the relevant content. Updated articles show a separate update date while preserving their publication date. Source-check dates remain attached to the sources actually checked. Our contact page explains how to submit a correction with the relevant page and evidence.

Some pages contain sponsored affiliate links. Qualifying purchases may support the website without changing the price paid. Placement does not guarantee availability or affect official rules. Poke Fun Play is an independent fan website and is not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company.
