How to play

  1. Choose three, five or eight Pokémon, then tap them from the lowest to the highest National Pokédex number. Submit and compare the numbered answer.
  2. The game begins when the page opens. Change its settings for a fresh challenge, or use the restart control for another round.

Strategy tips

Generation boundaries are a useful first clue. Earlier-generation Pokémon generally appear before species introduced in later regions.

Within a generation, recall starter families and familiar neighbours. Undo revises the latest choice before you commit the whole sequence.

What rules and data does this game use?

National Pokédex numbers are used, rather than regional lists or the collector numbers printed on TCG cards.

How do I play on a phone?

Use the labeled touch controls within the board. Where keyboard or drag controls are available, a tap-based alternative is provided too. The page adapts to portrait screens and respects reduced-motion settings.

How do I start another round?

Use the restart control. Physics games offer a next-stage button after you finish a challenge. Changing board settings starts a new round with those rules.
