Inside a 30th Celebration booster
Understand the special six-card anniversary booster, its Pikachu slot and why it differs from an ordinary expansion pack.

Six cards, with a specific composition
The official anniversary product showcase describes a booster containing five foil cards, including one of the 30 Pikachu illustrations, plus one foil Basic Energy card. That makes six cards in this particular booster. It is a special product format, so assumptions drawn from a different expansion’s pack do not apply.
Pack size is worth checking before comparing products. A count of booster packs is not a count of cards, and a smaller all-foil pack is not automatically equivalent to a larger pack from another series. Look at the expansion named on the product and its published contents together.
A featured slot is not a complete collection
A Pikachu in every anniversary booster does not mean that successive boosters will fill every Pikachu position. Repeated illustrations can appear. It also does not make a Pikachu rare card interchangeable with every Pikachu ex printing elsewhere in the expansion. Collector numbers remain the reliable way to distinguish them.
Keep a small checklist of the individual Pikachu printings you want. When sorting an opening, set those beside the rest of the main-set cards before moving anything into a binder. This makes it easier to notice a genuinely new illustration rather than counting all cards with the same Pokémon name as repeats.
Separate the ordinary booster from a subset product
Some anniversary products describe a dedicated Classic Collection booster. That is a different component from the regular six-card 30th Celebration pack. Read the product’s contents rather than assuming every pack pictured inside a collection has the same card pool.
This distinction matters when deciding whether a product suits a main-set goal or a historical subset goal. More accessories or a premium box do not by themselves tell you which subset is included. A useful comparison notes the exact pack type, promos and display items on separate lines.
How to use the pack information here
The simulator uses a configured pack profile and records the result before the animation begins. Reveal colors are presentation cues; the card page still shows its recorded rarity and finish. Physical product contents and simulation probabilities answer different questions, and an animation cannot establish a manufacturer’s undisclosed pull rate.
Use the anniversary catalogue to explore the printing and the booster guide to understand the saved-result model. For a physical purchase, check the seller’s exact product listing against the official contents. If you are browsing for the artwork, a favorite illustration can be a better target than an expectation about what one more pack will produce.
