Strategy tips
Learn a few positions at a time. Mismatched turns are useful too: remember both faces and try to connect them to earlier reveals.
Larger boards reward careful observation. Avoid repeatedly reopening the same unmatched tiles when an unseen square could provide a new clue.
What counts as one turn, and what is a perfect score?
A turn is counted after you reveal two different unmatched tiles, whether or not they match. A perfect six-pair board takes six turns; an eight-pair board takes eight. The clock begins with your first flip, so studying a freshly loaded face-down board does not spend playing time.
How is Device best compared across different boards?
Records are separate for each pair count and Pokémon collection. Fewer turns wins; a faster time breaks a tie in turns. Try Kanto favorites or Starters & evolutions to learn a smaller visual pool before moving to all 100 favorites. New round shuffles a fresh lineup.
What is saved after a memory round, and how many Pokémon are available?
Your best turn count is stored on this device for each board size and collection. The selected pool now includes 100 familiar Pokémon.
