How to play
- Play Klondike with a standard 52-card deck. Build descending runs in alternating red and black suits across seven tableau columns. Move a face-up card or an entire valid run; only a King can fill an empty column. Build the four suit foundations from Ace to King to win.
- Drag cards onto a legal pile, or tap a card and then its destination. Double-click or double-tap an exposed card to move it automatically. Newly exposed cards turn face up. Use Undo to take back a draw, recycle or card move.
Strategy tips
Expose face-down cards when possible. Keep a useful empty column for a King and look for moves that uncover another card before drawing from the stock. A card on a foundation can return to the tableau when a legal move helps.
Draw 1 turns one stock card at a time. Draw 3 turns up to three, with only the top waste card playable. When the stock is empty, recycle the waste in its original order. Hints suggest a legal move; undo restores the previous board.
Why will a card not move onto another pile?
Tableau cards descend by one rank and alternate colors. A red 7 can move onto a black 8, but not a red 8 or black 9. An empty column needs a King. Foundations use a different rule: one suit in ascending order, starting with its Ace.
Should I send every available card to a foundation?
First look for a move that exposes a face-down tableau card. A low card can still support a useful descending run. This version lets you return an exposed foundation card to a legal tableau pile, and Undo can restore a move or stock draw.
Are these traditional Klondike rules, and is every deal winnable?
This is traditional single-player Klondike with unlimited stock passes and no score penalties. Deals are randomly shuffled, so a win is not guaranteed. Pokémon court artwork changes the appearance, never the suits, ranks or rules. The deck, timer and optional saved game stay in your browser.
