Delta Reign: prerelease, digital and retail dates explained
Mega Evolution—Delta Reign has three dates to know: store prereleases, Pokémon TCG Live and retail launch. Here is how to plan your next collecting session.

Three dates, three different ways to take part
The Pokémon Company’s announcement sets the retail release of Mega Evolution—Delta Reign for November 6, 2026. Participating-store prereleases begin October 24, while Pokémon TCG Live receives the expansion on November 5. Mega Rayquaza ex returns, and paired Stadium cards introduce the Legendary Stadium feature.
Our take: choose the session you actually want
A prerelease, a digital launch and a retail release are useful for different reasons. Start by deciding whether you want a shared event, time to explore cards on screen, or a physical opening at home. Put that goal ahead of the excitement of being first; it makes the date you need much clearer.
For a store event, contact the venue about its own time, entry requirements and booking arrangements. A worldwide prerelease start date is not a reservation at a particular shop. For a home opening, make space for sorting cards before you buy anything: a clear surface, sleeves you already use and a short list of the artwork or Pokémon you want to follow.
Leave room for artwork that belongs together
The paired Stadium idea gives collectors an interesting display question. Our suggestion is to sketch possible binder positions before committing to a layout. Two adjacent images can read very differently across a page boundary or beside a visually busy card. A temporary paper marker lets you try the arrangement without repeatedly moving your cards.
This is a presentation choice, not a reason to assume that an expensive purchase or a particular number of packs will complete a display. The announcement does not provide a personal completion guarantee. Decide what you want to collect, review the final published card information, and leave the rest of the page flexible.
Keep the simulator and physical release distinct
Poke Fun Play’s pack-opening game uses its own documented models. It is useful for exploring the virtual collection, but its outcomes do not predict a physical box. Delta Reign is now included, with all 141 numbered cards and supported finishes available through simulated packs. Browse the card catalogue for the artwork, card text and dated USD references.
