Into the Wild 2026: two Dynamax debuts, two different routes
Pokémon GO’s November event brings Dynamax Regidrago and Meltan through different activities. Check the event window and the longer GO Pass period.

What has been announced
Pokémon GO’s Into the Wild event runs November 9–13, 2026. The official announcement puts Dynamax Regidrago in five-star Max Battles and Dynamax Meltan in GO Pass: Into the Wild. The pass continues beyond the main event, until November 15 at 6 p.m. All of these times follow the player’s local time zone.
Our take: plan around the encounter you want
The useful distinction is the route to the Pokémon. A Max Battle target and a pass reward ask you to spend your session differently. Before arranging a walk, decide which of those two activities is your priority. That gives you a more useful plan than treating every item in an event announcement as something to finish in one outing.
Keep a small checklist with three columns: target, required activity and your next action. For a battle target, your next action might be checking the in-game schedule and whether friends can join. For a pass target, it might be opening the current reward track and reading the relevant task. This is a planning suggestion, rather than a promise about how quickly either encounter can be obtained.
Keep the two end dates separate
Write the event window and the pass window on separate lines. A later pass deadline should not be taken to mean that every event encounter or bonus continues for the same period. Check the official event page and the live app before relying on a particular activity.
A simple calendar reminder is useful here: label it with the activity itself instead of just “Pokémon event.” That makes the reminder meaningful when you open it several weeks after reading this article. If plans change, a short session focused on one favorite Pokémon can still be a satisfying goal.

Compare their types, artwork and evolution information, then return to the official GO notice for the current event rules.
