Solve a nine-by-nine Sudoku using Pokémon artwork or numbers. Three difficulties, pencil notes and a fresh unique puzzle.
How to play
- Fill every row, column and 3×3 box with nine different symbols. Select a cell and then a Pokémon or number. Use notes for pencil candidates.
- The game begins when the page opens. Change its settings for a fresh challenge, or use the restart control for another round.
Strategy tips
Begin with groups that have many fixed symbols. Every cell belongs to one row, one column and one box, so inspect all three when ruling out candidates.
Clear removes an editable entry. You can switch to number mode without losing progress. Three difficulties control how many clues remain.
Do the Pokémon symbols change the Sudoku rules?
No. Each picture stands for one of the nine numbers, with the same mapping across the entire board. Each row, column and 3×3 box needs each symbol once. Toggle Number symbols if familiar digits make a difficult deduction clearer; the puzzle and your entered values stay the same.
How are Pencil notes, candidates and Check entries different?
Pencil notes let you record possibilities without entering an answer. Possible numbers uses the current row, column and box to exclude conflicts. Check entries compares filled squares with the puzzle’s solution and marks incorrect values. Fixed starting clues cannot be edited.
Does every Sudoku puzzle have a unique solution?
Each generated puzzle is checked for a unique solution. Pokémon are symbols for one through nine; their types and Pokédex numbers do not affect Sudoku rules.
